Andrea Stark, OTR
I believe all individuals deserve the right to live their best life within their occupational role of school,
work, and home. I am a seasoned occupational therapist (OT) who identifies one’s strengths and
weaknesses to create an individualized treatment plan. In therapy I use a wide variety of evidence-based
strategies to enhance, restore, remediate, or compensate where needed to reach the client’s program
end goal.
I am skilled in working with neurodiverse populations diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, Autism, Learning
Disabilities, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Developmental Disabilities, and sensory integration disorders. I have
an extensive history and knowledge in treating simple to complex handwriting issues, self-regulation
(sensory) concerns, maladaptive behaviors, and executive functioning delays. I specialize in making hand
tailored programs and systems for use in any setting.
Finally, as a former school-based therapist my hope is to bridge the gap between school and outpatient
OT services within the community. I also provide student advocacy, family education, and Independent
Educational Evaluations (IEE).
Training Background: I have an OT license in the state of Texas and registered with the National Board
for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). As an OT with 25 years of experience I have had the
privilege of serving in skilled nursing-specializing in dementia/Alzheimer’s, inpatient rehab, outpatient,
work hardening/work conditioning, pain management, consulting, home health, and school settings. I
have a bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman’s University and one year towards my Post Professional
Occupational Therapy Doctorate. I am thrilled to join PEACE Psychology Center and ready to serve you!
